About Us
At Willow Bend, we want to be the step that plants the seeds to help women go from surviving to learning how to thrive. The way a person thrives is not the absence of stressors rather the bandwidth to tend to each stressor as it comes up. Women are resilient and need a space where they can learn how to take their survival skills, and hone that energy into something that nurtures them. Together we will realize how we are the most valuable resource and worthy and deserving of befriending ourselves.
Meet The Team
Emily Hyatt is a seasoned addictions and mental health professional with nearly a decade of experience in mental health and substance use disorder case management and life skills coaching. As a certified CPRS (Certified Peer Recovery Specialist), Emily is deeply committed to helping women heal and rebuild their lives. She is currently completing her certification as a Crisis Intervention Partner (CIP).
Emily firmly believes that recovery is not a one-size-fits-all process, and she is dedicated to creating individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs.
Emily’s vision for Willow Bend Recovery is to introduce as many women as possible to the world of recovery, providing them with the support and tools necessary to achieve lasting wellness.
Emily began working in the mental health field in 2002, gaining experience in both the prevention and treatment of multiple addictions as well as experience in the treatment of mental health diagnoses. Over the years, she has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across a variety of settings and levels of care. Emily is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT).
Emily works from the belief that therapy is a collaborative process rooted in safety, honesty, and compassion. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside people as they uncover and rediscover their worth, identity, and purpose.
Her approach is grounded in meeting people where they are while creating a space where all parts of the self can be explored with curiosity and compassion rather than shame.
Emily works from an attachment-focused perspective, helping people better understand the patterns, experiences, and survival strategies that have shaped their lives and relationships. She values authenticity, emotional depth, and the complexity of the human condition, and strives to help people move toward greater connection, healing, and wholeness.
